By the way, if you are in a budget you can book early so that you can avail of some airlines promo.  Ours is only P1,300 per head roundtrip, Airphils promo.  We booked it last January, it is better to book early to save money.  As well as booking in the agency early to reserve hotel slot.  We got it at P4,200 per head, children 5 years below is for free.  The agency will arrange the best place(itinerary) for you that fits your flight schedule and of coure the “budget”.  Tips: you will save more if you will go there in group, and if you’re in tight budget and not in a hurry they have roundtrip van from manila to ilocos roundtrip.  And also if you don’t have kids, there are many places and activities you will enjoy like Sand boarding, trekking going to falls, etc.

Our day 1 is more on swimming in the beach.  The boracay of the North, Blue Lagoon is really beautiful, the Ivory beach is also great.  We really enjoy the water and sunset.  The seafood there is cheap, Lapu-lapu fish is only P180 per kilo, the big squid is only P180 per kilo and the lobster is only P400 per kilo, they will give you discount if you ask.  The “Paluto” is only P50 at Mekeni Palutuan located at the Blue Lagoon, Pagudpud.  You will enjoy the food without spending much money.

Day 2 is more on city tour and visiting historical places at Ilocos Norte and Sur. It’s like turning back time…you’ll much appreciate it if you experience Marcos time and you will amaze to see how they preserve and restore all the stuff.  But, as for me, it’s really a good experience to have the opportunity to visit those places like the place of Juan Luna, the history of Syquia/Elpidio Quirino…amazing.  The place of Gov. Singson is also nice, the “Vigan Heritage Village” that we only see in picture is wow…

What can I say? I LOVE ILOCOS 🙂 If given the opportunity I will come back again for sure.  The place is full of historical places, lots of beach resort that your family will love and enjoy.  Hope you will follow me again on our next trip.  One thing is for sure, not only it’s more fun in the Phils, really there’s lot of beautiful places here in the Phils that yet to discover.  Before you go out in the country, let’s explore around the Phils.  Take Care and God Bless us all.  Happy Summer.  Life’s too short, enjoy the ride.
